Sixteen, channeling

Channeling is a special form of poor registration, but it is not the same as poor registration. Poor registration means that a part or several parts have not been overprinted accurately; while channeling is that the overprinting is accurate, but it is good for a while, bad for a while, and intermittently good or bad.

Abnormal:

1. Poor elasticity of the original membrane

2. Plate runout (Poor loading of A plate; Poor shaft of B plate; Poor support roller of C plate; Abnormal key groove of D plate roller; E plate roller eccentricity)

3. Shake roller (bearing failure, or loose support roller on one side, wear and eccentricity after long-term use)

4. Imprint roller shakes (poor bearing or not installed in place)

5.The scraper frame has reached the impression cylinder support frame, causing the impression cylinder to jump.

6. The color sensor is dirty and blocked by ink or foreign matter

7. Dirty color reflector

8. The air pressure in the drying box is too large, and the original film is unstable.

9. The inner guide roller of the original film effective width is too dirty

solutions:

1. Replace the original film of different batches or different manufacturers

2. Stop processing to make the printing plate run smoothly (A reloads the plate; B changes the plate shaft; C repairs the plate shaft support wheel; D processes the plate keyway; E remakes the plate)

3. Please ask the maintenance department to repair (replace the bearing, or repair the support roller, or replace the guide roller)

4. Check the impression cylinder installation so that it is in place. If the impression roller bearing is bad, replace the bearing or directly replace the impression roller

5. The scraper moves backward, or the scraper holder descends

6. Remove foreign matter such as ink drops or ink blocks from the electric eye probe

2. Insufficient staff color matching technology experience, there is a difference when the original ink is used up and the secondary color matching is used up during the printing process

3. Variation in color density or use of inks with different properties compared to when sealing samples

4. Improper viscosity management control

5. The blade angle changes a lot during printing

6. Printing speed change

7. After printing, there are plugs in some of the outlets of the printing plate, and the severity of the plugs varies.

8. Dot wear on printing plate after repeated printing (light version)

9. Post-process materials (such as paper behind bucket lids and bowl lids) lead to differences in finished product colors

solutions:

1. Strengthen and improve preparations

2. Strengthen personnel color and ink deployment training

3. Properly adjust color density or replace ink

4. Reasonably control ink viscosity

5. Insufficient cooling water

solutions:

1. Reduce the printing speed appropriately to ensure that the ink printed on the printing film is sufficiently dry

2. Properly increase the oven drying temperature

2. Use appropriate solvent or correct solvent ratio

3. Turn on the cooling water motor switch and water pump switch

4. Adjust the cooling water volume or ask the maintenance department to clear the cooling water pipeline.

Note that it is different from "adhesion". Adhesive ink fails to dry, and it usually appears before entering the next printing unit. Adhesion is not found until the next process.


Nineteen, scraping ink

One or more of the vertical line-shaped inks that are supposed to be printed are missing, and the missing colors may also be dragged to other places without patterns. Missing may be one color or multiple colors. Minor, you can see the light when looking up at the light; severe, you can see the light when looking up, and the printed semi-finished product is also accompanied by obvious scratches. (When one color is missing, it is clear that it appears before the second color is printed; when multiple colors are missing, it needs to be analyzed according to the specific situation.)

Abnormal:

1. The printing surface guide roller rotates badly (the guide roller that was supposed to rotate normally does not rotate or rotates very slowly), and the ink is scraped off.

2. Misfeeding, the printing surface touched the fixed guide roller or equipment support

3. There is a floating film and other foreign matter in the oven, which causes the ink to be scratched before drying.

solutions:

1. Please stop the maintenance department to repair the guide rollers for normal operation.

2. Stop and re-wear the film to make the paper feed correctly

3. Shut down the oven and remove foreign matter such as broken films

【special reminder】:

It should be distinguished from the third abnormal "knife line". The phenomenon is similar and the cause is completely different.


Twenty scratches

There are scratches of non-printed patterns and scratches of printed patterns. The former is a transparent line that appears on the non-printing surface; the latter is a bad version, that is, a line of a certain color appears in the original place where there is no line, either vertical or oblique, which is generally not particularly serious. Severe version scratches, this article classifies it as a knife line. (The scratches caused by the guide roller are vertical, and the scratches caused by the plate are also oblique.)

Abnormal:

1. On the non-printing surface, the guide roller that should have been rotated has a bad rotation speed or is stuck, and the original film is scratched (if the printing roller has a bad rotation speed, this article is listed as scraping ink)

2. Misfeeding, non-printing surface hit the fixed guide roller or equipment support

3. Defective printing plate, thin lines that did not exist during storage, transportation or use (if the lines are thick, they are classified as plate injuries)

solutions:

1. Please stop the maintenance department to repair the guide rollers for normal operation.

2. Stop and re-wear the film to make the paper feed correctly

3. Abrasive paper sanding for downtime to reduce or eliminate small scratches
